Olympic Update: Unbelievable Relay Performance Nets Phleps Gold Medal #2!

The U.S. Men’s Swimming Team won the 4×100 Team Relay, defeating the heavily favored French Team, who did a little “trash talking” before the event. In the end, though, it was U.S. Team Anchor Jason Lezak who won the event, touching the wall 8 one-hundreths of a second before his French counterpart. This relay win gives Michael Phelps his second Gold Medal as he continues his quest to surpass Mark Spitz’s record of 7 Gold Medals. Phelps will swim for his third medal tonight in the Men’s 200 Freestyle.
