50 Years ago this week, the patent for the modern Lego brick was issued. Lego has been the premier construction toy ever since, adding new sets, themes and licenses every year. Remarkably, bricks from sets made 50 years ago, in 1958, are compatible with sets released this year. In 2008, Lego premiers it’s newest licensed set, based on the Indiana Jones movies.
