One of the greatest joys for me is bringing someone to Toy Fair for the very first time. This year, I was able to bring our newest contributor, Nate, to his first Toy Fair. I asked him to write a short summary of his experience and what he was most impressed with. These are his thoughts
(Editor’s note: Nate was only able to come for one day and came to a limited number of showroom appointments)
This being my first time ever at Toy Fair, I was amazed and overwhelmed by all the great new toys, games, and other fun things, that they had on display. I would like to say to the DC Collectibles Booth that you guys are doing some incredible work there, I could feel the passion you all put into what you have made, and they were all so beautiful, they just blew me away. I especially loved how you guys looked out for us little guys who wanted to get into collecting but don’t have that much money, but the way that you did it didn’t feel like you are being cheap to us . For that I give you two big thumbs up. But another booth that hit me close to home was the McFarlane booth. Being a huge gamer, I loved how much they put into thinking about us gamers, I was also impressed by the careful details they added into their products and figures and how they were all very well-priced. I wouldn’t mind picking up a few for myself sometime soon

That officially ends our Toy Fair coverage. Thanks to the staff at Javitts and all of the companies that we visited. We look forward to covering the products we saw when they are released.
My personal thanks to Peter and Nate for their assistance in this coverage.
