Playmates came to Toy Fair this year with a large slate of products, but something was missing. Due to the impending Spring launch of new entertainment on Nickelodeon, there were no new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures. In fact, this is the first time in several years that Playmates did not have a TMNT Collector Event, but that doesn’t mean there was nothing to see.

Playmates had their newly released Power Players line, which feature some very whimsical character designs. In addition, there were some new Ben10 items and, most surprisingly, some really neat Frozen II merchandise. I have to say, the interactive figures that Playmates have made are pretty awesome. They have released Anna, Elsa and Olaf currently. They have tons of different phrases that they can say and they interact with each other. The second wave, due later this year, will consist of Ice Queen Elsa, Queen Anna and a Kristoff and Sven Two Pack.
