This is probably one of the most bittersweet Toy Fair reports I have ever written. I have been associated with the company currently called Seven20 since it was called Underground Toys USA. I first got involved with them because they were the US distributor of the Doctor Who action figures that were manufactured in the UK by Character Options. I have seen their Toy Fair booth grow from a tiny little table with wire racks that had the figures hanging on them, to a massive city. Last Year, they marked a huge milestone by designing manufacturing and producing their own action figure for the US market. Everyone I have ever dealt with at the company has always treated me with respect, from Robyn to Bryanna and everyone in-between.
So, it was with a heavy heart that I have to announce that Seven20 no longer has the US Doctor Who license. In fact, near as I can tell, no one does. I am sure someone will pick it up, but exactly who and when is pure conjecture at this point.
However, Seven20 is still making a ton of really awesome giftware, for tons of different licenses, including Star Wars, Batman, Marvel and Harry Potter. Look at all this cool stuff and despair with me that they no longer have the Doctor Who license.
