The time has come at last. The Doctor’s return is imminent. And, so, this launch page has been created to centralize all of the known information about Series 7.

DOCTOR WHO SERIES 7 LAUNCH CENTER

The 7th series of Doctor Who is headed our way beginning September 1st.  The series will again consist of 13 episodes and a Christmas Special. Again, like last year, the series will be split, with the first 5 episodes airing, beginning September 1st, followed by a short break. then the Christmas Special. Following the Christmas Special, there will be another break, followed by the transmission of the remaining 8 episodes. Matt Smith will again return as the Doctor.  The biggest news this year is that this is the end of the travelling days for the Doctor’s current companions Rory and Amy Pond, played by Arthur Darvill and Karen Gillan. Of course, that means the debut of a NEW companion. The actress’ name is Jenna Louise Coleman. Here character’s name is reportedly Clara, and there will be more on her soon enough.  The other interesting thing this series is that there are NO 2-PART EPISODES! Also each episode will have unique graphics for the title sequence.  For now, we are going to concentrate on what is known about the episodes right now.
