Last Year, the Bridge Direct made themselves known internationally when they were awarded the master toy license for The Hobbit motion picture trilogy. Their line for the first movie, The Hobbit: an Unexpected Journey, was reasonably successful, with the 6″ segment proving more popular then the 3.75″ segment, due in part to their incredibly lifelike sculpts. However, not one to rest on their laurels, they went ahead with a slightly diminished line for the second movie, The Hobbit: the Desolation of Smaug. However, the also made news due to another huge license acquisition. Thanks to the introduction of the WWE StackDown line last year, WWE construction toys are now a reality. They are planning to capitalize on the line’s success by expanding their offering to include some of the most requested top stars as paying excellent “fan service” to the WWE Universe and tying in to WWE’s biggest show of the year: WrestleMania XXX. Here’s what the Bridge Direct has in store.
