PHOTOS BY NATE ALLEN AND NOAH ROSENZWEIG. NOTE: FOR EACH TOY FAIR REPORT, THERE WILL BE TWO SEPARATE GALLERIES, ONE FOR NATE AND ONE FOR NOAH.
Next up at Toy Fair is Mezco, a Toy Company which has always produced spectacular product, but which grew by leaps and bounds with the introduction of their One:12 Collective line, which allowed them to make some truly amazing collector-grade figures based on Marvel and DC Comic characters. The line has since expanded to include other pop culture properties.
Besides the One:12 Collective, Mezco is also continuing to expand on their incredibly popular Living Dead Dolls line, expanding it into licensed fare. Also expanding are some of their newer lines, such as Burst-A-Box and Mezco Designer Series (MDS).
But, Mezco is never content to rest on their laurels. This year, they are introducing an awesome new line that they are calling Five Points. These are smaller scale licensed figures that have only five points of articulation. I think this is a fantastic new area for Mezco to branch out into and I am sure the will bring the same care and dedication that they bring to their other lines to this one as well. I expect big things from these small figures.
There’s a bunch of cool things to see, so let’s get started. Here’s our video walkthrough of the booth, which will be followed by the photo galleries. For more information on any of the items or product lines, read on.
